Ciolanu Monastery

It’s placed at about 25 kilometers from Monteoru, on a local road from Vernesti and at 45 kilometers from Buzau. As offset on the map it can be used the Magura Sculpture Camp.
The name comes, probably from the human remaining of some monks that were found in this clearing. It seems that here found the refugee a few monks from the Byzantine empire conquered by Turkey.
