Daffodils Glade - Dumbrava Vadului

The natural reservation Dumbrava Vadului is known as Poiana Narciselor and it’s part of the Sercaia - the Vad village at 60 km from Brasov. The reservation has 400 hectares.

In May, around the Constantin and Elena celebration, the reservation becomes animated by the daffodils. Around this date it’s also the Daffodils Celebration, an ethnography and folklore festival.

This gorgeous place is the only reservation of this kind from Europe. There are daffodils all around the place, growing free in all their beauty, but being a natural reservation you are not allowed to pick them. The Transilvanian traditions and food can be admired and tested if you go to the Daffodils Celebration.
