The Trovants

  • The Trovants, living stones that feed on sand, appears it in Buzau Mountains in strange forms, especially in spacecraft shapes. Trovants are microform relief that develops in layers of sand, respecting the pearls formula, because of the water that wash them and cemented them in time. Buzau Trovants can be discovered and admired in the Ulmet - Bozioru.

Bisoca - The Forest

  • A place where time seems stopped in place, leaving you time to breathe the nature, to smell the green air, to feel the painting that surrounds you and to merges your self fith the mioritical plains. A place where people are gentle and hospitable, true mountaineers that greets you with a smile and invite you in the house and at the table without restraint, regardless of where you live and who you are.

Meledic Camp

  • Meledic sculpture camp contains about 25 wooden statues, resulting from an action initiated by Cornelia Ciurumelea and Prof. Dumitru Ionescu Christ in June 2001 during the International Constantin Brancusi Year. The works are spread through glades around Meledic Lake.

Meledic Lake

  • They say Meledic is the only lake in the world with fresh water, placed on a salt massif. Its maximum depth is 20 m and the surface does not exceed one hectare. On the lake there is a pension and a campsite. Nearby there are mineral springs known for at least 200 years. In summer, here youn do sun bath and fishing. The bathrooms are not appropriate because the deep water is extremely cold.
