Transalpina

• Transalpina road is the highest in Romania and in the entire chain of the Carpathian Mountains, from both the country and beyond, reaching the maximum altitude (2145 m) in Step Urdele. Parang road will traverse from North to South, parallel with the Olt Valley and the Jiu Valley, which encloses and connects the town Saliste of Sibiu county with Novaci town of Gorj county.
